January 21, 2021 – The Biden Administration

January 21, 2021

The utmost priority of the new administration is a quick path to citizenship for 11 million ILLEGAL immigrants.

As an immigrant myself, I know that to become a U.S. citizen, you must prove good moral character, and have a very clean record. I was asked, during my citizenship interview, if I had any outstanding fines such as parking or jaywalking.

I guess that the bill proposed would grant a pardon to all illegals first. Then, what? Is the message now that lying, and cheating, is totally acceptable and rewarded? That the end justifies the means, no matter what the means are?

I should not be totally surprised, coming from this administration.

The press, of course, spins this news as a feat of humanitarianism.

Why do I think it is an easy way to hopefully gain the new voters that the democratic party desperately needs for a remote chance to win fair and square another election?

Another urgent matter seems to be a 60-day ban on new oil and gas drilling permits and leases for federal lands and waters, including the Gulf of Mexico.

Selfishly, I like my gas and energy costs to be low. I also like the idea of the U.S. being self sufficient when it comes to its people’s needs.

Will I soon be paying more to fill up my tank, and heat or cool my house?

The Middle Eastern oil producers must be popping bottles after bottles of champagne tonight! Iran will soon be able to afford an even bigger bounty for President Trump’s head.

On a positive note, it seems that since the inauguration, Covid-19 lost its potency! Schools in our state, after having been closed for almost a full year, will now reopen for students on March 1st.

Last week, the number of deaths attributed to the virus were going up. But today, all is good and safe for our kids, their teachers, and their families.

This new President is truly a miracle!
