March 3, 2021 – The Sham Impeachment and Other Tidbits

So much happened during the past three weeks!

• If there ever was an impeachment that was no better than a farce, the latest Trump impeachment was It! During the trial, I found it difficult to reconcile the stories told by the accusation with the footage I saw on TV during the so-called riot on January 6^th. The defense swiftly demonstrated that the accusation falsified documents to fit the narrative. In any court of law, that would have been enough for a judge to dismiss the case. But not here. I was amazed that the proceeding kept on. I was very disappointed by so many guilty votes. And our government calls that “justice”. It was nothing but an embarrassment. As if I needed one more proof that there is no justice to be had from the democrats’ senate!
  
• Drug prices started rising again. I read it is Not Biden’s doing. He simply signed an executive order to cancel executive orders from President Trump that aimed at lowering drug prices. For the interested, here is how it was supposed to go. I will have to agree to disagree with “Biden did not raise drug prices”.
  
• The internet went crazy about Melania Trump. She is, per the MSM, soooo jealous of Jill Biden… Why on earth would that be? No disrespect to Mrs. Biden but come on now. Can’t the news find something else that I may maybe believe?
  
• Tom Brady, with his new team, won another Super Bowl. Congratulations! But what was that at the half-time?! Was it supposed to be a red army? And those masks… diapers? And what, they die at the end? I like The Weeknd, usually, but the visuals left a lot to be desired. Some say there are meanings behind that production. I only saw gloom and confusion. A Super Bowl I want to forget.
  
• Governor Cuomo sent back Covid-19 patients to their respective nursing homes and now, some people want him finally out. Governor Cuomo is not the only one that did that. Governor Hogan had no problem with sending back Covid-19 in nursing homes. A little odd. Pneumonias were kept in hospitals, Covid-19 back with unaffected elderly people. Hard to understand, unless Covid-19 is nearly not as bad as pneumonia? Or maybe, saving some social security money was an appealing idea? It is not Covid-19 that may end up being the biggest problem for Governor Cuomo. The Me-Too movement may be his downfall. Or something else. It does not even matter. The Golden Boy of New York must go. I wonder who Cuomo offended.
  
• After years of peace and quiet, it seems that we are setting up the stage for a new war. On one hand, there are talks of reviving the Iranian deal. On the other, missiles are falling on Iranians-backed militias in Syria.
  
• Some House Democrats are not that comfortable with President Biden’s power to launch nuclear weapons. I am wholeheartedly joining these democrats! I am still waiting on President Biden’s clean bill of both physical and mental health. What is taking so long?
  
• The Biden administration does not see a problem with male born athletes competing against female born athletes if the male born athletes identify as females. And that is an administration whose motto is “trust the science”. Female born athlete may as well let go of their dreams and aspirations. Back to the kitchen ladies! Who did we really think we were anyway?
  
• President Biden did not address the nation in January, nor February. On February 28, President Trump’s speech at CPAC sounded a lot like a State of the Union Address.
  
• The “Be Less White” corporate training seminars… Really! Imagine if any other “color” had been asked to be less. Less white? Will transparent do? Nonexistent? Interesting fact: today, whites are only about 10% of the world population. A minority. And here I thought that minorities had to be protected. How naïve of me.
  
• Texas froze. Green windmill energy failed when the windmill itself froze. What happened there? I thought Texas had a lot of oil…
  
• Dr. Rachel Levine, Biden’s pick for Assistant Health Secretary, does not seem to mind children going through sex changes should they wish to. A child cannot buy cigarettes. A child cannot drink. A child cannot marry. A child cannot own a bank account. A child is dependent on a parent, or a guardian. A child wants to become a nurse, an airplane pilot, a businessperson, an artist, a lawn mower mogul, or maybe drop school altogether and smoke pot. That child, in all his or her wisdom, without ever having experienced the pleasures, or displeasures, of his or her own gender, knows that his or her sex is not what he or she wants right now, so off we go pumping the body with hormones. Is Dr. Rachel Levine serious? Or does misery love company?
  
• Antifa is not a terrorist group. MSM said so. Democrats say so. On Wikipedia:
  Terrorism is, in the broadest sense, the use of intentional violence to achieve political aims. It is used in this regard primarily to refer to violence during peacetime or in the context of war against non-combatants. 
  But Antifa, says the Media, is not a terrorist group.

I feel like I live in a surreal world right now. Nothing makes sense.
